See here for Part 1.
Here are the last 17 Kickstarter Updates, with links, and a brief summary of each one. Quotes are pulled directly from the update. As part of Palladium Books response to Better Business Bureau complaints, they stated that they had provided 14 to 17 updates “…communicating with backers to let them know where things stand.”
By my count there are two Updates 173 and 184 that directly address Wave 2 and both come with a promise of information to come. Take a look for yourself:

FAQ and other stuff is coming. Oh, and those cards that are “missing” from everyone’s box set or Battle Cry extras (no, it’s not just your copy) will be posted online, too.”

Big Things Coming
“This is just a brief update to touch base with you and make sure you know you are not forgotten. Far from it. We’ve been working on a number of things for Robotech® RPG Tactics™. Wave 2, of course, but also some things to keep you excited about RRT until the next Wave is unleashed.
Our focus for the next few months is going to be heavily on Robotech® RPG Tactics™. We want to see RRT Wave Two released by the end of the year, but we have a number of other things coming sooner that we think will please our Robotech® Kickstarter backers and all our supporters very much. Things that are being made here in the US and will not take much time away from our energy to get Wave Two into your hands.
Kevin had a good talk with Harmony Gold USA just last week and they have green-lighted our plans. We are hammering out the final details right now and will be in a position to start revealing details the first week of June, 2015.
One such bit of news is 3 new Robotech® RPG Tactics™ convention exclusives — ALL of which will be offered to our Kickstarter backers online via Backerkit. This way you do not have to be at the convention or wait in line to get these items, you can get them from the comfort of your home. The new exclusives are: Miriya in a Super Veritech Guardian mode, Breetai in heavy armor, and Grell in male power armor (along with a Malcontent card). We are likely to also re-offer Max and Miriya this way as we continue to get requests for them (they are out of stock at the moment). Details to follow in two weeks.
We are doing this (and more) to keep the enthusiasm for Robotech® RPG Tactics™ boiling and to provide a taste of what’s coming. We believe in Robotech® RPG Tactics™, have big plans, and intend to support it heavily as we deliver the mecha and fighting forces of all eras of Robotech®. And we’re listening to you and your suggestions to make this game everything you might want. Details to follow.”
And a sales pitch for a Robotech Book and mention that a RRT tournament at their Open House went well.
June 4, 2015: Update 177
“Hey, guys, Wayne here.
I just wanted to post a quick note to say that yes, we did promise a big update this week, and yes, it is coming. Maybe Friday evening, but more likely Saturday. It’s largely written but needs to be edited, and more importantly, some of the mechanics of offering convention exclusives to you guys – just you guys, and not the whole internet – are still being worked out. We’re almost there, just doing some testing of the system, but we want it up and running properly before we spill all the details.
So yeah, I’m posting an update that basically just says the update isn’t ready yet. Better than keeping you completely in the dark though, right?”
June 7, 2015: Update 178
Robotech RPG Tactics Update-June 6, 2015
Restart the conversation post, with “history” of Palladium Books, Robotech, and Robotech RPG Tactics complete with excuses on everything.
June 7, 2015: Update 179
Robotech RPG Tactics Update-June 6, 2015-Part Two
How and where RRT went wrong and who is to blame. Talk of more interaction with backers and this… “Wave Two – by the end of 2015?
We want Wave Two out yesterday. Or even better, last year. That can’t happen. We are shooting for the end of 2015 and will do EVERYTHING we can to make that a reality. But as I hope you are beginning to understand, things are not always under our absolute control.
To be honest, we have been so savaged for the many delays and changing release dates in the past, that we are afraid to offer release dates or certain details until we are sure of them. That has resulted in fewer updates over the past few months. In fact, I have had several advisors tell me not to even say that we are trying hard for an end of 2015 release for Wave Two. But we really are. That’s what I want more than anything. If we can make it happen, we will. Again, going into all the reasons for the delays or why we might not be able to make a release date is excruciating and we are not going to put ourselves or you through that pain. We just aren’t. We will, of course, release what we consider to be reasonable information and data as we get it. And we’ll try to do so more often. PLEASE remember this is all a work in progress. Things change.
We hope that you realize Wave Two and all future releases mean money for Palladium and its partners, as well as a vibrant future for the game line, so if we can get product out faster we most certainly will! End of year is the plan. If we can do it sooner, even better! But no promises. And might it be later? Maybe. We don’t know yet. When we have a much clearer idea for a release date we will post it!”
And ending with, “Until then, we have some cool stuff coming your way”

The Big Scale Poll
A poll for backers to change scale.
July 9, 2015: Update 184
“As for Wave 2, I’m working on a big breakdown of where each and every component is in its development, but that’s going to take some time. The short version is that some have been approved for tooling, some are still pending minor changes, and a couple are being reworked to reduce part counts while preserving detail. It’s going painfully slowly.”
And pictures of the convention exclusive Miriya figure along with some others.
July 15, 2015: Update 185
Exclusives Order Deadline Extended
